A rare WW1 period aircraft tachometer by Reliance, Mass, U.S.A.

This particular instrument was for use with the excellent Hall-Scott aero engine.
It was most likely fitted to a Standard J - 1 aircraft. This was similar to the later JN - 4 (Jenny) model.

It is in excellent original condition with perfect dial and glass. Unusually the dial is enamelled.

This tacho really should be used in a restoration - a fine instrument
