** On Hold **
A rare WW1 cockpit clock of the type fitted to the Voisin night bomber, manufactured by Allion A Versailles.
The clock was fitted to the centre of the wooden control wheel.
In good original condition this instrument is self sprung to aleiviate vibration caused by the engine. Interestingly someone (possibly the pilot) has engraved their name and date on the face. We did consider having the face restored but decided this is very much part of it's history.
'From - E. Lee, Paris, France. July 19th, 1918'.
The movement has also been fully overhauled, it is now in full working condition.
This early aircraft clock is very rare.
